Restored lock pair with key. FANCY face locks, This set is for a double pocket door. Face plates are brass w/original patina. Note the intricate detail of the design. Very unusual and special for your home. Mounting holes on 6 7/8″ centers Face plates are 1 1/8″ wide x 1/8 thick. Case sizes are both 5 1/4″ tall and are 3 1/8″ deep, respectively. All pop-out mechanisms work as you would expect. There is a spring inside each lock that applies tension to the “pop-out” handle. This keeps the handle inside the lock until you pop it out. Restored lock pair – NORWALK pocket door locks from the 1800′s – 1900′s. Self aligning face plates with a unique fancy engraved type finish and design. The self aligning feature (to ensure the male and female lock would align) was only on the oldest of pocket door locksets as manufacturing costs prohibited them continuing into the 1900′s. Plain face locksets were the norm until the whole concept of pocket doors went away. The oldest homes on the east coast to the west coast have single or double pocket doors. This set is for a double pocket door set. The face plates, as you would imagine, are aged and the attention to detail in the manufacturing of these really shows. No equivalent product on the market today. Key operates the latch (one lock engaging the other part). One of my largest skeleton keys fit this lock perfectly including the slots to clear the small cast tab at the keyhole. Mounting holes on 6 3/4 centers. Face plates are 1 1/8″ wide x 1/8″ thick. 2 Door slide barrel bolt latches fancy iron brass locks Windsor old vintage. These were used as a security latch slide bolt on the edge of a door. The latch is cast iron with a great crisp Windsor pattern cast into the sides. The brass knob shows a small amount of wear from use. It has plenty of life left. It was stripped, wire brushed and. A set of vintage screws is included. It can be used on either left or right hand applications. It is 3 5/8″ long and the keeper is 1 3/8″ long and 1 5/16 wide and 3/4. Thick over the knob. The second latch is cast brass with a great crisp Eastlaske pattern cast into all the sides. The brass knob shows very little wear from use. There are no cracks. The slide bolt is solid brass and the keeper is cast iron with a brass finish. It is 4 5/8″ long and the latch is 1 1/8″ wide and 3/4 thick.
